The thesis is not about AI increasing productivity in IT firms. It is about clients wanting to automise their workflows with AI which will be a key revenue/growth generator for next few years for IT sector. They need to approach IT firms to do this work. Its like Ferrari (AI) trying to navigate the Jungle (fortune 500 companies legacy, privacy, security, etc hurdles). Someone has to build roads (IT sector) in this jungle for AI to navigate. Further, billing will move/already moving from headcount based to outcome based.
And just to remind you FY26 is nearly over...why would you use Nasscom predictions?
Rubbish analysis
Thanks for pointing out. Nasscom's projection for FY27 is also in the same range as FY26.
If AI can increase productivity at Indian OT firms... Why won't client ask for discounts?
